The Universal JoiNT

Originally in Central Minnesota, bringing shareware to the masses from 1989 through 1995 as an official distribution site for Software Creations, Apogee, and Id Software. The site also specialized in ‘Demos’ from various artists, ANSI Art packs, and digital music such as MOD and S3M. The sysop was an active member of the local computer user group and would frequently bring his computer along for demonstrations of the music and art packages.
The BBS hobby took a back seat while the sysop raised a family, but as the kids grew up and moved on, I’m back online and restoring old archives as I am able. The BBS is now in SE Wisconsin, but the content remains, along with new ANSI art packs, more MOD and other digital music, more door games, and more discussion areas.
